For the first time Jim-Bob noticed a slightly worried look on Running Cloud’s ① otherwise expressionless face. His face was calm but his eyes kept their gaze fixed upon the great East Gate. There was a long pause in his silence and Jim-Bob dared not disturb it. Running Cloud’s long black hair hung down like a shiny blue curtain in the moonlight ② covering most of his face except for two high-set cheekbones.
